After the first stop that I let my wife choose, I decided we should check out another state park that is only a few minutes away. I've been to this a couple of times in the past but I've never gone to the lower falls because the park was open and busy. It turned out to be a good idea since they hadn't started blocking off the creek to fill the swimming area. It provided a quite unique view of the falls.
