8/22/2021 - Lampson Falls

A wonderful place a bit to the north of us.  There's a very easy walk to the top of the falls.  It is really odd that there is so much water flowing over these falls but you can't hear them from the roadside parking.  Focusing was still an issue due to auto-focus.

As you can see from this photo, it is wheelchair accessible for a narrow chair.  It may be a little steep on the return if you don't have electric or someone to assist you though.

Had a long exposure for this view looking at the small cascade at the top, but I thought this captured the power of this waterfall with the detail.

If you are lucky enough to not be wheelchair bound and can handle a little steeper incline, you can head down to the naturally made beach for this view.

Some water spots on the lens that attempting to correct just didn't work.  Seeing this view makes me wish that I returned in the fall to catch the leaves changing.  There's always next year...
