9/2/2204 - Pemaquid Point Lighthouse

We made a trip over to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse as my wife loves them.  Some really beautiful views!  If you decide to go up the tower, please note that it is a really tight space.  You must come down backwards as there is no way to turn around and going forward is not safe.  The first few steps are completely blind but the view from the tower is very nice indeed...

9/2/2024 - Boothbay Harbor, Topside Inn

A couple more shots from the balcony of our room.  The lighthouse in the first photo is over a mile away and I did some cropping to remove a boat that was coming in.  I am really excited for the future photos of this lens (Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR).

Site Notes: There are several accessible rooms and some great views on the lawn behind the inn that are easy to get to.  If you aren't going to stay at the inn, visit their bar to provide support to this wonderful establishment.
