10/7/2023 - Sodus Point Lighthouse

My wife really enjoys lighthouses in part because of the nostalgic nautical equipment and old architectural designs.  They are extremely interesting places to visit.  This is only the second one we visited, but this time, we had the pleasure of climbing the tower!

10/1/2023 - Moody Pond

I decided to get out for a long ride since it was in the upper 70s (Fahrenheit).  The destination I picked was supposed to be a short and easy 9/10 of a mile hike to a mountain overview.  They really need to define easy!  I didn't make it to the top because after 45 minutes of walking almost straight up, I was only about 2/3 of the way there with what appeared to be a steeper climb ahead.  Someone that was headed down also told me there wasn't really a great picture spot at the top which discouraged me more.  I got a couple of pictures at the pond next to the parking area, that's what you are viewing below...
