9/17/2023 - Sylvan Beach Sunset

I decided to go for a ride around Oneida Lake and stop for a sunset series of pictures.  Honestly, I didn't expect it to be quite this nice!  I do need to remember to take my tripod so I can create more panoramas.  There are a lot of pictures for this post...

9/7/2023 - Storm Crossing Oneida Lake

I was hoping to get some lightning as the news shows a lot of activity.  No lightning as apparently the news was completely wrong with the lightning out in front of the storm.  It was one of the oddest weather events I've experienced.  When I arrived, the lake was almost glass like smooth and was for 10-15 minutes.  Once it started, it took less than a minute before it was so strong that the hatch on my Jeep wouldn't close with the remote.  Less than 2 minutes after it started, there were 1 foot waves coming to shore.

Got back down to Seneca Mills Falls for some better pictures than I got the last time.  I actually think these came out very well.  Hopefully, you believe so as well.  I can't believe my wife posed for me!
