6/20/2023 - Furnace Creek Cascade

Went out for a ride with no destination but not wanting to wander too far.  Then I remembered seeing this place several times always thinking I needed to stop and check it out.  Nothing much and may have been able to get better pictures if I wanted to get my feet wet.

6/11/2023 - Seneca Lake

Went out to visit my uncle who lives on the shores of Seneca Lake.  I was completely amazed by the number of minnow along the shoreline!  There had to be at least 100,000 in sight from his deck.  Could see a couple of quite large largemouth bass, bullhead, and some common rudd (an invasive fish) from his dock.  None of which seemed to want to stay still so I could get a picture!  My wife and uncle watched an Osprey dive for a meal.  I, unfortunately, missed that.  The second shot is just after it dropped it's meal...

This is a roadside view along State Route 414 in New York that I've ridden past several times and missed.  This time, we were intentionally going this route just to stop here.  Unfortunately, the flow was a bit low due to dry conditions, but still a nice view overall.

6/4/2023 - Templar or Twin Falls

These falls first came up as Twin Falls when I was searching but then I found them called Templar Falls.  Either way, they are quite nice.  Parking is truly about 100 steps away from the falls.  You do have to cross the stream if you would like to go tot he base, but I crossed completely dry.  Not sure how this compares to the max flow, but the signage states the trail crosses the stream so I can't imagine it is a lot more.  I started out below the lower falls but you can see the upper falls in the background.

5/27/2023 - Ludlowville Falls

I decided to get a filter to help me with the long exposure photos that I truly enjoy taking.  This was my first time using it and I am very pleased with the results.  It is a variable ND filter so I can't tell you how many stops it was.  The first picture is without the filter just because I wanted something to compare the results to.  All those with the filter have very light editing...
